New shoes are a broken heart's medicine.

So I'd been excited to go on a date with a girl I had met at Anime Weekend Atlanta, after exchanging numbers and talking for a while, we decided to go on a date. That date didn't happen, when the time came she suddenly stopped answering my phone calls, I am still waiting for her excuse but I know she's been online so either she's ignoring me or playing games, either way I can't handle it, I haven't been on a date before and I haven't been in an relationship for years, it's a major blow that this happens to me. I wish I could eat icecream and cry with my friends, but no one is around so it's just me and my computer and marathons of Project Runway.

On to the less depressing things, I got a few packages today, there is nothing more excited than getting packages, well except maybe thrift hunting.

The first package I got were these paws I won in an auction.I bought them for a Little Bears Cafe coord I plan on wearing to Momocon. They look more like cat paws, but I think I'll find a way to make some claws to put on them to make them more "beary".

I also purchased a pair of my absolute favorite type of shoes. My friend Arisu Pai was selling them and I was actually too late to get them but then the girl who did buy them told me that she didn't want them anymore and I gladly took the opportunity to buy them. They finally came today with a few extra goodies and it definitely cheered me up a little more.

I love them and they are the cutest, I thought they were ugly for the longest time but they're so quirky and huge and I love them, I've been coveting them for a while now so I treat them like my babies. I walk weird, so my shoes scuff really easily, so I really hope that with good preservation that they hold up.

She also threw in this adorable pin from her shop Pretty Puella Boutique. It's so well made and adorable, I cannot wait to wear it out. Pai also makes these cute little moth guys, I want one so bad, I hope I afford to buy one really soon.

She also sent this cute resin heart ring.

And she drew this super awesome picture of us :D. We're both fans of the SMT:Persona series so this picture really put a smile on my face. I hope we can hang out together really soon, until then I have time to figure out what to make her in return.

A day for thrifting. And more Cult Party kei!

Today I got to spend some time with my bestest friend in the whole world, I missed her so much and I was super excited to see her. We decided to do our favorite passtime, THRIFT HUNTING. Shit I feel like I should have my own show like those "Extreme Couponing" and "Storage Wars" shows where I just go to Thrift stores and find amazing shit.

I found this amazingly ridiculously ugly pink, purple and lavender fur coat, and I wanted it so badly but I couldn't bring myself to get it.

Also found some peignoirs, this one is definitely my favorite.

This one looks better on me than on the hanger but I would love to wear this with my red polka dot dress.

I bought this one
and this one last time I went thrifting and I am thrilled to have more cult party kei style items in my wardrobe.

got these socks that have purple and green bats on them.

Speaking of bats, I finally got my bat pin from Melty Dream, as you can see my googley eyed bat is making eyes at the newcomer. I'll be posting a review later this weekend.

I also bought this plush Lion backpack, because I adore plush animal backpacks.

I bought this new cardigan as well, it's super cute and has polkadots on it. It'll look great with casual lolita and fairy kei.

I really like this peignoir, I hope I can wear it with more outfits.

Man isn't that toilet classy?

The Waiting Game.....

Today I got the first of the items I've been waiting for, for a while now. I love shopping, absolutely love it, but the waiting game kills me everytime.

I was extremely please to receive my Confetti Tights from Sweetiecakes. I'm not sure if I will be doing a review for them or not, all I can say is that XL is definitely very tight.

I'm currently waiting for this mint.
 These in pink

and these in pink.
I can't wait till I get them :3

I also wound  up hanging with some of my lolita pals, we were supposed to have  a meetup but only 3 of us showed up. Plus it started snowing and I only left the house with a cardigan, I was crying because it was so cold.

We decided to beat the cold by messing around in a few stores.

This little Minnie Mouse hat is so cute, but so expensive, my mind immediately went to ebay.

hopefully if I lose as much weight and I plan to by the end of the year, I'll look like this :3

Finally had some tirimasu after years of not having it, it was yummy.

Ashely with her hot chocolate , a chocolate strawberry and a very delicious looking cheesecake..

Jessica opted for some salad instead, it was surprisingly good too, even though I really hate salad it was nice.

I'll be starting a 30 day Lolita challenge, so stay tuned for that folks :3

A Super Kawaii Weekend

Last weekend after a pretty awful week I spent some time with some friends.
I took a trip to the walmart for some sleepover snacks and found myself wondering why anyone would know more than 600 things about the Jersey Shore cast. Why? Who would make this? Who would buy this?

We had some spare time before my friend Brittany's party so we went thrifting. While were there I found the ugliest pants in the world.

The front side was cheetah print and the back side was denim.

There was no shortage of ugly shit at the Thrift Store but I also found a good housecoat for my cult party kei outfit.

If you're not familiar with Cult Party Kei, it's a Japanese style, a substyle of Dolly kei. It's basically what would happen if Fairy kei and Dolly kei had a baby together.
Check out the cult party kei tag here: http://www.tumblr.com/tagged/cult+party+kei

It took a long time to get the outfit together but I am rather satisfied with it and currently working on another one.

eating some yummy Pho

had some yummy Green Tea Boba tea too

and CAKE POPSSSS! They were dericious

I was so happy to see Laffi, we hadn't seen each other since October because we live so far away from each other. This is awful this needs to change.

Amber looking lovely in her Powder Rose jsk.

Megan was left with the cake, if she hadn't have gotten it we would have left it at the restaurant.

The cake was asking for it.

After dinner it was Karaoke Time!

Getting our groove on to some David Bowie.

Laffi (Serepuff) looking super duper kyute :3.

Ayu (ayubutts) looking pretty dapper :P

I think Decoration Dream looks way cuter in real life don't you?
Karaoke was super expensive, way more expensive than I had ever paid for karaoke before.

By the way, if you guys could please please please, pimp this out and vote for me for the Gothic Lolita Wigs Spokesmodel contest? I'd really like to make top ten atleast.

The Annual Atlanta Lolita's High Tea

After fretting for over a month the lolita annual High Tea was finally here. And though I normally don't want to pay 40 bucks for tea, the High Tea is the biggest atlanta lolita meet (outside of conventions) of the year with 55 attendees.

We got some fancy finger food, the Salmon thing was a bit grody and I am not a fan of egg salad but I enjoyed the cucumber sandwich and the chicken roll.

The deserts where yummy as well.

I was excited when they announced that the Atlanta Lolitas would be having our very own convention called Frill.

You guys should totally check out the  Frill website, I can't wait to buy my ticket.

After many stomachs were left unsatisfied a few of us made plans to stop at the local Taco Mac for some grub.
