Excuses, Excuses

I have not posted in months, which is bad I know, but I have excuses. So here they are, listen to them if you will.

1. I got a second job, so yay more money, but boo now I have no social life.

2. Camera broke. It got slammed around in my bag, that's what I get for not carrying it in it's case.

3. I moved. Moving is hectic, it's crazy and I hate it but it had to be done.

So yeah, now I've been using my old webcam and my cellphone to take pictures, not exactly the best tools in the world. But I will try to keep this blog updating by posting my backlogged stuff. I never did a room post, so I will post that soon as well as post pictures from various other things I've gone to. I will try to post meetup and outfit shots but they will mostly be from other people as I cannot take my own photos often. I have to save up for a camera but I also have to save up for a tv, to go to Japan, to get a 3ds, to get my hair and nails done. Ugh, I have a lot of shit to do and not enough money/time to do it.

So if you stuck around, thanks. Please stay tuned for more stuff.

I'm also using this opportunity to pimp out my GoFundMe, I'm saving to go to Japan and being a college student with no parents this is no easy task. Many would say, "why don't you go when you're older" but I feel like I will not get this chance again in the future. After I graduate college, I need to buy a real car and save up for special FX school, I will not be able to go on a nice vacation again in a long time. So as a graduation present to me I am saving for Japan, and if you or anyone you know would like to help me, please feel free to.

Alpacas fun in the Summer sun

One of the ladies in my local lolita community found a nearby alpaca farm, so I hopped on the chance to see my favorite farm animals.

Going to an alpaca farm doesn't seem very glamorous but we had fun anyway. Here I am posing with my favorite guy Chocolate Rumrunner.

Not all of the alpacas were as friendly as he was, most of them were curious but very shy and  avoiding getting too close to us but Choco greeted us as welcome buddies.

This guy has the right idea, it was ridiculously hot that day, if I were covered in all that wool I'd be tired too.

The owner's of the farm also had these super fluffy herd dogs, which were far more friendly than most of the alpacas.

This little guy is just a puppy, he was only a few weeks old and already so big and fluffy.

Another animal at the farm were these Angora bunnies, which were the hugest and fluffiest bunnies I'd ever seen.

I couldn't even tell where was the head and where the tail, it was just one big ball of fur.

We also had high tea at the house, and learned a little bit about the history of the house and farm.

The tea was super delicious, and I really hate tea, but it was apparently Ginger Peach from Teavana. I definitely need to get some more once I can pony up the cash.

Here is my outfit shot for the day, I didn't really get to wear the heels, I only wore them for the outfit shot. Most of the time I wore sneakers.

Suprisingly none of the alpacas spit at us, and they didn't really smell all that bad either.

I hope we can have another meet here again one day, it was a bit difficult to get a reservation because only about 13 people could book the tour at a time.

A day at the GA Renaissance Festival

I recently went to the Renaissance Festival with my friend Dani, this was what I was planning on wearing.

However after a week and a half of being terribly sick and the next possible day we could use our tickets, it was raining. So we decided to ditch our costumes and brave the rainy weather with our umbrellas instead.

Despite rain I still had fun, and because we had anticipated it, it really wasn't too much of a nuisance.

Dani found some cat ears/horns, they were cute but I was more focused on buying snacks and other stuff.

We happened upon a joust and decided to stay for the show

Here the queen is welcoming the guests, I believe she is reenacting Catherine of Aragon, King Henry's first wife (I have been obsessed with the Tudors, since childhood)

In the end "the bad guy" won, but the tournament was a draw for some reason and you had to come back later to see who really won.

We also got to see a show about birds of prey. This one is a parrot (not a bird of prey but they had a parrot sanctuary)

Because of the rain I didn't get a lot of good shots, I did get a cool video of the vulture but it takes to upload here so I'll upload it on youtube.

I didn't get as many pictures of the owl or the falcon either :(

here's a sad looking a cow

and some geese and ducks that had just gotten done fighting with each other

I thought these fountains were so pretty.

But I don't think I'd ever be able to own one.

I didn't buy much, just some sticks of yummy flavored honey and some elf ears and spirit gum. There was a metaphysical store so I also snagged some incense, sage stick and some dandelion leaf.

This is what my ears  look like on, I hope I have excuse to wear them in the future.

I'm alive!

A few weeks ago I was terribly sick, sicker than I had ever been in my life, I had a cold and then a sinus infection. I spent most of my time in bed drinking tea and covered in tissues and vapor rub. While I was bored out of my mind (I couldn't work due to a loss of voice) I played around with different dressup doll games. Rinmarugames.com is definitely my favorite site, I spent hours on there, these are just a couple of the ones I liked the most.`
