My Kawaii Wardrobe showcase, part 2

Today I had some free time so I decided to do another wardrobe post. I was in a good mood so I decided to show some of my lolita items.
Here are my printless sweet jsks, I feel as though my wardrobe is going in a more old schoolish direction. I have started purchasing pieces with details rather than just prints and I have quite a few that are still on the way so I will show them later. The pink jsk is from bodyline, the satin bows and chiffon help give it a more Himeish look, it is from bodyline and a very versatile dress. The blue jsk is from Maxicimam, it's one of my favorite dresses and has a very old school vibe, it matches nicely with my other blue accessories.

The fact that the only two prints I have left in my wardrobe have green in them is purely coincidence. Mint is my favorite color so I hope to get some more mint items in the future. Little Bears Cafe is a replica from DOL, I am not a fan of the original's apple greenish color so when I saw that the replica was more minty I jumped on it, this is really a more "true" mint rather than the seafoamy mint I see lolita brands use. The other dress is from  bodyline, I modified the top and added the straps as I wanted to give it a more casual sundress feel, the original collar and straps were hard to deal with and hard to coordinate.

One of my favorite prints other than anything with bears or flowers on it is definitely polkadots. The pink OP is from Bodyline and is a really simple dress and it's easy to wear, I usually don't like OPs kind of want more OPs because of it. The red skirt is from Metamorphose, I adore it's retro feel and it looks like something Minnie Mouse would wear.

Since I am on the subject of polkadots, I figured I'd show off my non-lolita polkadot items as well. I'm missing a few shirts and blouses but whatever. The long dress I found while thrifting, it's a retro pinup style dress, It was such a great find, even though it doesn't fit well yet I couldn't pass it up for 5 bucks. I'm not exactly where the tube style dress in the middle is from and the one next to is is actually a bathing suit, I got it from walmart and it was a great steal for someone who prefers to be modest while at the pool. The dress on the bottom is from Rue 21 and it's nice chiffony, it's short so it makes for a nice casual hime outfit.

When I pulled out my bow box, I couldn't help but feel like was missing a lot, but here are the ones I found.
Top Blue: Metamorphose, Mini pink: Handmade, Blackxpink: Bodyline. The majority of the second row is Bodyline with the exception the pink leopard print ones (which are handmade). The galaxy bows at the bottom: Meltydream, Bottom pink: Angelic Pretty, Hot Pink: Meltydream, Small cheetah print bows: Rue21, Black bow is from F+F?

And that's all I had time for today, I'll post again next week <3

Valentine's Day fun at White Windmill

This Saturday I got all dressed up for a Valentine's day lolita meet. We had it at this Korean Bakery.

Everyone brought a cute decorated box and exchanged candy and cards.

It was so nice to see everyone again, I hadn't been to a meetup in a long time.

I finally got to fill my craving of bubble tea and macarons and had a delicious red bean paste + cream filled pastry.

I also made sure to bring a ton home with me, I probably spent about 30 dollars on goodies (macarons are quiet expensive) but since I have no car I cannot always get to a bakery so it was well worth the money to me.

Though it was pretty and sunny out it was freezing, I wished I had brought my coat.

After we went to the bakery we went to the mall and hung out for a while.

Some of these photos are from Amber Jones and Mai Greer <3

I hope you enjoyed this post and stay tuned, tomorrow I'll be posting part 2 of my wardobe tour series.

Kawaii Wardrobe Showcase part 1 and Mahou Shoujo card games?

I couldn't figure out exactly how to revive this blog, my camera is broken and my camera phone isn't the best quality. I don't have a lot of content to upload on a weekly basis, but I've made it a mission of mine to post more so I figured what better way than to do a wardrobe post. This idea is inspired by the egl theme, however I felt that I didn't have enough lolita to do it and while my wardrobe has tripled since last year, I still don't feel comfortable posting a lolita only wardrobe. I figured that I would show my entire wardrobe, not just my lolita clothing, and that it would be better to spread over a span of weeks rather than all at once because I have a lot of clothing. So here's part one of my "Kawaii Wardrobe".

These are all my sailor school uniforms plus a sailor style dress. The uniforms are from Bodyline, the navy one I modified for a cosplay and the dress is a modified Gunne Sax dress.

Mint is one of my favorite colors and I don't nearly have enough of it. The long skirt is something I thrifted, it's nice, long and princessy, sometimes I wear it as a dress with a belt at the waist. The middle dress is from Charlotte Russe, it has little polkadots on it. The sweater vest was from Target and the shorts from Walmart, I got them during last summers pastel trend, I wish I had gotten more stuff.

These are some of my sweaters, the kitty one is from Ebay, the striped one a friend thrifted and gave to me, it's my favorite sweater in the world and the pink one I thrifted as well. I really need more sweaters in my wardrobe.

I decided to post a few accessories today, the Minnie mouse ears were thrifted, the bear bonnet are from Cutecandyclouds, cat ears are from ebay?, bat wing ears are from Sanrio and the clips are from Claire's.

These are my usual winter accessories. The scarf was thrifted, the earmuffs are from bodyline, top middle hat was given to me by a friend, the middle hat thrifted, bottom hat is from KillStarclothing. The bear hat was from Spencer's, Hello Kitty hat from Hot Topic and the beret I bought at Frill (if anyone knows who made it please let me know).

Well that's it for the first part of my wardrobe post, I'll try to post more next time but I was really tired today.

Earlier this week I hung out with my best friend, every other week or so we get together to watch anime and hang out. For christmas she had gotten me a Weiss Schwartz Madoka Magica deck.

I had never played it before and couldn't really figure out the rules by myself so they wound up sitting on my dresser until she told me that her brother and some of his friends get together every week or so to play the game and invited me to come along. I didn't really know what to expect but I had fun and look forward to learning more about the game, I even got some more cards, more than enough to make another deck.

My first goal is to buy one of these mats because I don't have one of my own, then maybe I'll buy one of the Persona 3 decks (you can have decks based on many different anime and games and still fight them against each other, my bff has a Vocaloid deck).

I couldn't resist wearing my new dress, I figured their was no judgement amongst bunch of guys who played card games based on magical girls.

Excuses, Excuses

I have not posted in months, which is bad I know, but I have excuses. So here they are, listen to them if you will.

1. I got a second job, so yay more money, but boo now I have no social life.

2. Camera broke. It got slammed around in my bag, that's what I get for not carrying it in it's case.

3. I moved. Moving is hectic, it's crazy and I hate it but it had to be done.

So yeah, now I've been using my old webcam and my cellphone to take pictures, not exactly the best tools in the world. But I will try to keep this blog updating by posting my backlogged stuff. I never did a room post, so I will post that soon as well as post pictures from various other things I've gone to. I will try to post meetup and outfit shots but they will mostly be from other people as I cannot take my own photos often. I have to save up for a camera but I also have to save up for a tv, to go to Japan, to get a 3ds, to get my hair and nails done. Ugh, I have a lot of shit to do and not enough money/time to do it.

So if you stuck around, thanks. Please stay tuned for more stuff.

I'm also using this opportunity to pimp out my GoFundMe, I'm saving to go to Japan and being a college student with no parents this is no easy task. Many would say, "why don't you go when you're older" but I feel like I will not get this chance again in the future. After I graduate college, I need to buy a real car and save up for special FX school, I will not be able to go on a nice vacation again in a long time. So as a graduation present to me I am saving for Japan, and if you or anyone you know would like to help me, please feel free to.

Alpacas fun in the Summer sun

One of the ladies in my local lolita community found a nearby alpaca farm, so I hopped on the chance to see my favorite farm animals.

Going to an alpaca farm doesn't seem very glamorous but we had fun anyway. Here I am posing with my favorite guy Chocolate Rumrunner.

Not all of the alpacas were as friendly as he was, most of them were curious but very shy and  avoiding getting too close to us but Choco greeted us as welcome buddies.

This guy has the right idea, it was ridiculously hot that day, if I were covered in all that wool I'd be tired too.

The owner's of the farm also had these super fluffy herd dogs, which were far more friendly than most of the alpacas.

This little guy is just a puppy, he was only a few weeks old and already so big and fluffy.

Another animal at the farm were these Angora bunnies, which were the hugest and fluffiest bunnies I'd ever seen.

I couldn't even tell where was the head and where the tail, it was just one big ball of fur.

We also had high tea at the house, and learned a little bit about the history of the house and farm.

The tea was super delicious, and I really hate tea, but it was apparently Ginger Peach from Teavana. I definitely need to get some more once I can pony up the cash.

Here is my outfit shot for the day, I didn't really get to wear the heels, I only wore them for the outfit shot. Most of the time I wore sneakers.

Suprisingly none of the alpacas spit at us, and they didn't really smell all that bad either.

I hope we can have another meet here again one day, it was a bit difficult to get a reservation because only about 13 people could book the tour at a time.
